MAN Nutzfahrzeuge opens new Beijing office

MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Vertrieb Deutschland GmbH has held an opening ceremony for its Beijing Office yesterday. Dr.Matthias Mitsche rlich, members of Man board committee, told the media that the group is committed to expand in the fast growing Chinese market. MAN Group has also made many contributions to the development of Chinese economy, including offering employee training programs, employment opportunities and advanced techniques, he said. 

MAN Nutzfahrzeuge has a turnover of 760 million euros at present. With local procurement of machine tools and other services, all of the group's operations in China are put into full play now. The group aims both to increase profitability in this market through innovative and reliable vehicles with low operating costs and efficient service and to optimize driver safety and comfort. 

The German-based group has already built cooperative relationship with China National Heavy-Duty Truck Corp (CNHTC) and Weichai Power, and the cooperation is to be strengthened in future. Man Nutzfahrzeuge also owned a diesel engine plant in China, which has become the largest diesel engines producer for ships in the region.
