China complete build-up exceeds 140,000 units between Jan-April

Statistics from the China Automobile Manufacturer Association shows that between January and April, the import and export value of automobile totaled 18.827 billion U.S. dollars, with 7.654 billion U.S. dollars worth of import, up 18.32% y-o-y and 11.173 billion U.S. dollars worth of export, up 36.18%.

During the same period, 82,900 complete build up units were imported, up 15.87% y-o-y with a total import value of 2.709 billion U.S. dollars, up 14.11%.

The export of complete build-up totaled to 141,700 units, up 62.50% y-o-y with a total export value of 1.601 billion U.S. dollars, up 84.48%. Of the export automobile, 36500 units are sedan, 59,500 units are trucks and 17,800 units are buses. Their respective export growths are 57.03%, 52.61% and 2.5%.
