New Mazda 6 expected to be made in China next year

News reported that the production of the new Mazda6 is expected to commenced next year, or earlier, in China. Mazda 5, and Mazda 2 will start production as early as next year.

According to the sources, the new edition of Mazda 6 is more stylish, and is 6 cm longer than the old one.

Meanwhile sources disclosed that the new model will be powered by 2.0L or 2.5L engines.

These engines are likely to be provided by Changan Ford Mazda engine Company which will start its operation in April this year.

The source also disclosed that in addition to the new Mazda6, Mazda3 MPS will be introduced at the end of this year.

Previously in 2005, Mazda had announced that it will launch eight new models within three years to enrich its line-up in China; Mazda 3 and Mazda 6 are included in the new models.
