Jiangnan Alto Resumed Production

According to Zotye officials, production at JiangNan Auto has been revived recently and the automaker has also launched new models for 2007. Prices of the new models are RMB 4,000 lower than the existing models and feature high level cost performance. The production of Jiangna auto has been suspended since last summer, and now the company has announced to resume production starting this month. Sources say that in the second half of 2008, Jiangna plans to launch a 0.6 L microcar, the most efficient low-emission car to date in China.

After securing controlling stakes in Jiangnan Auto, ZOTYE Group has now expanded its manufacturing portfolio to include SUV, cars and trucks. Industry experts believe that ZOTYE will continue to expand. With Jiangnan's vast industry experience, coupled with ZOTYE's financial backing, this partnership is set to make wave in China's automobile industry, targeting to commercialized eight car series, ranging from economical cars to intermediate cars in three years time.
