Nanjing Fiat received new export orders
News from Nanjing Fiat reported recently that the Group has started its 300 unit vehicle production, which will be exported to Egypt. At the same time, the company will also export 8,000 buses to South America between 2007 and 2008, with Fiat model Perla occupying the largest portion of the export.
Sources from Nanjing Fiat disclosed that Nanjing Fiat has formally received its first batch of orders for 300 vehicles from Egypt, which will be sold under the Fiat global procurement sales channels. According to the orders received, Nanjing Fiat will complete the shipment of these models by the end of July,
Both parties have hinted that the orders is expected to exceed 3,000 units in 2007 and reach 5,000 units in 2008.
