Monthly sales of Foton truck exceed 10,000 units Mar - May

Commercial vehicle sales in China rose at the fastest pace in the first five months as economic growth raised demand in the world's second-largest vehicle market. Accumulated sales of Foton Auman during this period increased by 107.4% to 41,834 units, more than 40% ahead of the industry, of which monthly sales in March, April and May were 11,634 11,339 and 10,638 units respectively, exceeding the 10,000-unit mark for three consecutive year.

The company has sold a total of 200,000 heavy-duty trucks in the past five years, which has made it into a mainstream automaker with advanced technologies and diversified product channels.

Facilitating with business expansion, global operation and key competitiveness upgrade, Foton Auman brand has been targeting at the mid-high range heavy truck market from the very beginning. With an investment of 1 billion Yuan, the Auman plant has become a modernized truck production base in China, and the products can meet Euro III standards. 

Foton strives to achieve sales of 1.8 million vehicles by 2015, with sales revenue exceeding RMB150 billion.
