Analysis of auto production and sales in the first half year

Industry wide auto sales and production has maintained a steady growth momentum in the first half year in China. Both auto output and sales exceeded 4.3 million units in the first six months, achieving 4,445,700 and 4,373,800 units, up 22.36% and 23.31% respectively y-o-y. Of which output and sales of passenger vehicles were 3,151,400 and 3,084,100, up 20.86% and 22.26% respectively. Commercial vehicle output went up by 26.12% to 1,305,300 and its sales were 1,289,700, up 25.89% y-o-y.
