Shuguang Auto to buy Changjiang Bus

The news that Liaoning Shuguang Auto is intended to take over Changzhou Changjiang Bus Co Ltd has brought the media's speculation recently, who say Shuguang Auto may hope to incorporate Changzhou Iveco Bus with Huanghai Auto.

Shuguang Auto has announced earlier this year that it has jointly set up an enterprise, named Changzhou Huanghai Automobile Co Ltd (CHAC), with Dandong Huanghai Automobile Co Ltd and Changzhou Changjiang Bus Co Ltd. The interests of Shuguang, Huanghai and Changjiang's share in the new company, which will make buses, are 10%, 60% and 30%, respectively.

Changzhou Iveco Bus was co-built by Italia auto maker Iveco and Changzhou Changjiang Bus. The joint venture has made great success in the bus segment years ago but due to some readjustments inside the Iveco group, the two parts have dropped their co-investment at last.
