Dongfeng commercial vehicle H1 sales topped 93,034 units

Dongfeng Truck Co. commercial vehicle sales were 93,034 units in the first half of this year, increased 26% y/y, and accomplished 55% of its annual sales target. Its hot models such as Dongfeng Tianlong and Dalishen were sold 8,032 units, which is quadrupled that of 2006.

Dongfeng sold 74,415 units of trucks, increased 37%, sold revamped vehicles 16,238 units, and increased 55% y/y.

Dongfeng Motors' subsidiaries such as Dongfeng Liuzhou Car Company, Dongfeng Xinjiang Car Company and Dongfeng Chassis Co. had reached sale target ahead of schedule.

Insiders said that the reason Dongfeng achieved such good performance is Dongfeng Truck Co. is a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in the field, and its products are very competitive in the market.
