Shanghai. August 30 (Gasgoo.com) – Geely, China’s home-grown auto-maker, has decided to quit the 62nd auto show in Frankfurt next month, a company resource told Chinese media yesterday.

However, in an auto show in Shanghai in April, Geely declared the company planned to attend the Frankfurt auto show this September and that the company would put on all car models in the show as it prepared to invade European market.

Geely decided to quit the Frankfurt Auto Show on the grounds that the company was disappointed at the exhibition site that the organizers arranged for Geely.

The fact that Geely quits Frankfurt auto show indicates that there will be some changes in Geely’s plan to invade European market, Chinese media said.

As Geely quits, Brilliance becomes the only Chinese home-grown automaker to attend this Frankfurt Auto Show.

In the Frankfurt auto show, Brilliance will put on Zunchi, Junjie and M3 and another A-segment car, which will go on sale next year. Most of these car models are already on sale in Chinese market or have been exhibited in Chinese auto shows.

Brilliance car models will be exhibited at exhibition site 8, which shares the same exhibition room with Honda and PSA Peugeot Citroen models.
