Chinese automakers obtain $200 mln orders from Russia

Shanghai. September 6 (Gasgoo.com) – Chongqing-based Chinese automakers have obtained purchase orders worth over $200 million in the 11th Moscow International Motor Show 2007 on September 2.

During the show Chongqing's Lifan Auto has signed a $ 160 million deal with Russia's AutoMir. Under the deal, AutoMir will purchase 30,000 KD units from Lifan in the coming three years.

Chongqing Hongyan Motor Co., Ltd (Hongyan Motor) also reached agreement with sales agencies in Russia to export 725 Hongyan vehicles value at $ 30 million.

In addition, other auto spare parts makers have procured some orders worth $ 20 million in total.

The 11th Moscow International Automobile Exhibition "Motor Show" was held from August 20 to September 2 in Crocus Expo. More than 800 companies from 30 countries have come to the event.
