FAW Toyota focuses on the 2nd shop mode
Recently, the Beijing No. 22 Toyota franchised dealers--Beijing Huitong SiHui Toyota Auto Sales Ltd. opened. It is learned that within 3-4 year, there will be no Toyota franchised dealers open in Beijing district. According to another FAW Toyota dealer on the annual meeting of the Toyota dealers nationwide on January 20th, FAW Toyota manufacturers disclosed their plan to increase 50 dealers this year, with total amount of 300 Toyota franchised dealers in China. But most of these new dealers are 2nd shops based on original Toyota dealers that have a dealer shop already.
FAW Toyota 2nd shop mode began as early as the beginning of 2006, currently the number reaches more than 20. These parent dealers are of outstanding performance, excellent quality, and there is no difference between original and the 2nd in shop building standards service.
"On the annual meeting, dealers clearly figured that their focus on improving customer satisfaction this year, which strives to make FAW Toyota the top three of customer satisfaction survey of J.D.power. Therefore, staff training, storefronts image transformation, updating facilities are under way. Speeding up the 2nd shop mode is an important way to improve the quality of service." Said Wang Haiyan, general manager of Beijing Huitong SiHui Toyota Auto Sales Ltd, it is inseparable with the focus on improving customer satisfaction strategy of Toyota this year.
FAW Toyota Motor Sales Company recently announced sales targets for the next three years. 2007 sales targets 260,000 units, 350,000 sales in 2008, 450,000 Sales in 2009. It introduced that FAW Toyota annual sales in 2006 reached 223,000 vehicles, with annual sales growth of 42% over 2005.
