Delphi to built another 2 factories in China

Choon T. Chon, the president of Delphi China announced recently that, Delphi is in talks to built 2 new JV factories but declined to unveil the details.

Delphi China R&D Center has developed several new products aiming at China market, including vehicle radio & DVDs with Chinese language interface which made its debut in Las Vegas International Consumer Electronics Show in 2006.

 
Delphi has built a global R&D center, a trading company and two factories, and added extra investment in one existing JV in China 2006.

Delphi China R&D Center initiated in April, 2004, making a milestone in its pursuing of China's market, on which the total investment reached $50 million. The functions of this center mainly undertake the development and testing of the engine management system, common rail diesel system, steering system, braking system, safety systems, electronic systems and parts products in work performance, environmental friendliness, reliability and durability.
