Bentley sold 230 units in China YTD, doubling whole year sales in 2006

Shanghai. September 26 (Gasgoo.com) – China has become the fastest growing market for luxurious cars and Bentley has sold over 230 units in Chinese market in the first nine months this year, and this number will reach 300 by year end, Chinese media reported today.

During the recent Chengdu Motor Show held in Chengdu, Sichuan province, five Bentley cars, together with a Rolls-Roys Phantom were sold out in the first day of the show, according to the report. 
 

Bentley 's  YTD (year-to-date) sales in China have exceeded the whole year sales in 2006, the Chongqing-based Changjiang Times said.

In the first nine months of this year, Bentley sold 60 units in Shanghai, 70 units in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, 60 units in Beijing and 6 units in Chengdu.

The manager of Bentley's Shanghai franchised dealer said during the auto show that most Bentley buyers are successful business men from  manufacturing, Finance and real estate sectors, aged 40 years old.
