China imported 212,768 passenger vehicles in Jan-Sep, up 35.7 percent

Shanghai. October 31 (Gasgoo.com) In the first nine months this year, China imported 212,768 passenger vehicles, up 35.7 percent from one year earlier, according to latest statistics from China Customs.

China imported 221,662 completely built automobiles in the same period, up 35.4 percent from one year earlier. Passenger vehicles account for 96 percent of China's total automobile imports.

In the first nine months, a total amount of 198,913 units of sedans and Four-wheel-drive SUVs were imported, which represents 93.4 percent of imported passenger vehicles and 89.7 percent of imported automobiles, according to China Customs.
