Shanghai. November 1 (Gasgoo.com) Chinese auto group, Dongfeng Auto displayed its own hybrid vehicle codenamed EQ7200HEV at the 5th International Clean Vehicle Technology Exhibition and Forum in Beijing, local newspaper said.
The hybrid vehicle, which is built on the platform of Dongfeng Nissan's Bluebird, will start volume production within three years, local newspaper Beijing News said.
The power system of this vehicle consists of a 1.6 Liter engine (Dongfeng PSA Fukang) and a lithum battery pack.
The vehicle will be priced at about 250,000 yuan ($33,460) after volume production. Under Chinese government regulations, the price of a hybrid vehicle can be higher but no more than 30 percentthan a gasoline powered vehicle in the same market segment.
