Genesis to arrive in Chinese market early next year
Shanghai. November 7 (Gasgoo.com) - Hyundai Motor plans to deliver its latest E class luxury sedan Genesis to Chinese market by earlier next year, the company announced in a press release today.
In Chinese market, Genesis will compete with Lexus ES, BMW 5-series and Benz E-Series, Hyundai China's imports business spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman, surnamed Li, declined to comment on the pricing of this vehicle, but indicated that it will be more expensive than Yazun (Azera). However, the Guangzhou-based Nanfang Daily said in September that the vehicle is priced at about 400,000 yuan (US$53,200).
Meanwhile, the vehicle will be displayed at an auto show in Guangzhou later this month. Genesis will be delivered to different parts of global markets at the end of this year and through next year, the company announced.
