Federal-Mogul starts a $20 mln technical center in Shanghai
Shanghai, November 9, 2007 - Federal-Mogul Corporation (OTC BB: FDMLQ) yesterday broke ground on a 9,000 square meter, $20 million state-of-the-art technical center and headquarters in Shanghai, China. The technical center will be the eighth Federal-Mogul facility in China. The new facility will open in January 2009.
Federal-Mogul is a world-class automotive supplier serving the foremost original equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket industry. This new facility will be one of Federal-Mogul's 17 globally-networked engineering and technical centers, enabling the Company to create value for its customers through innovative technology that achieve product leadership at a competitive cost.

The technical center will house state-of-the-art testing and dynamometers, test cells, fuel storage as well as laboratory and test facilities. The high-technology equipment will also incorporate significant environmental features.
