Hyundai Kia auto parts sourcing from Chinese market up 40% this year

Shanghai. November 16 (Gasgoo.com) - Korean automaker Hyundai Kia auto said its auto parts sourcing from China grew 40 percent to $6 billion this year. The company’s sourcing products in China include engine, starter and alternative power generator.
 
Most automotive products sourced from Chinese market are used in the company’s OEMs in Korea and other parts of the world.
 
The total value of Hyundai Kia’s sourcing in China has been growing 40%-50% since the company started to source auto parts from China in 2003. Currently Hyundai Kia has 150 suppliers in Chinese market.
