Shanghai. November 22 (Gasgoo.com) The Shenzhen based Chinese automaker BYD Auto said it is confident to sell 200,000 vehicles next year, the company’s general manager Xia Zhibing announced in an auto show in Guangzhou earlier this week.
"Looking at the current sales report, we think we have no trouble achieving the 100,000 sales target set last year and we are confident to sell 200,000 units next year,” said Xia.
He expects to sell a total amount of 150,000 units of F3 and F3R models next year and the remainder 50,000 will come from some new models, Xia said.
F6 and F8 will be launched very soon, perhaps next month, and F1 will be launched in next April, Xia said, adding that he expects the dual model F6 will be launch in the second half of next year.
In the first ten months of the year, BYD sold 80,588 vehicles in Chinese market, and the mainstay model is F3, which sold 79,102 vehicles in this period.
