Honda Announced Position Changes in Management Level in China
Gasgoo.com (Shanghai Feb 24th)–The Board of Directors of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (the “Honda”), at its board meeting held on February 23, 2016, has decided on changes in its Operating Officers as of April 1, 2016 and its Directors as of June 2016. Those changes are subject to approval at the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company scheduled to be held in June 2016.
Honda’s announcement including:
· Seiji Kuraishi, currently Managing Officer, will be Executive Vice President, Executive Officer and Representive Director of Honda.
· MIZUNO Yasuhide will succeedSeiji Kuraishi to lead China’s operation and also the General Manager of honda motor (china) investment co. ltd.
· Asako Suzuki, currently President of Dongfeng Honda, will be promoted to Operating Officer of Honda.
Seiji Kuraishi joined Honda in 1982 and has been working in multiple locations for Honda including Malaysia, Japan and China. Seiji Kuraishi was appointed Geneal Manager of DongFeng Honda in Janauary 2008 and then prmoted to Chief Operating Officer for Honda’s Regional Operation(China) in April 2010.
Yasuhide Mizuno has joined Honda since 1986 and has been working in several locations for the company including Japan, Malaysia, Australia and China.Yasuhide Mizuno was appointed General Manager of Dongfeng Honda in April 2010 and Executive President of Honda and General Manager of GAC Honda in April 2014.
