BAIC impressed Beijing Auto Show, demonstrating a completed range of vehicles

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 10^th)– Xu Heyi, President of BAIC Motor, surprised the audiences of Beijing Auto Show by making a big entrance driving one of the company’s alternative energy supercar ARCFOX-7. More importantly, BAIC surprised the stage by gathering the overwhelming majority of its domestic brands including BAIC Motor, Changhe, BAIC BJEV, FOTON and BAIC YinXiang, together with its joint venture brands including BAIC Hyundai, BAIC Mercedes-Benz and Changhe Suzuki, and also the large number of models it brought to the show. 

It’s acknowledged that BAIC has brought 27 models to Beijing Auto Show, demonstrating its achievements in conventional vehicles, alternative energy vehicles, supercars, concepts, variants and driverless vehicles, as well as its progress in powertrains, light weighting technologies, intelligent systems and aerial applications.

To be noted, domestic brands and key technologies are definitely the leading roles on the stage of this year’s auto show. ARCFOX-7, a high performance electric vehicle controlled by a powerful AWD system, could accelerate to 100km/h only within 3 seconds with a top speed of 260km/h and a driving range of more than 300 km.

BAIC also demonstrated its fast charging solution at the show which could complete a battery change within only 3 minutes.

Besides, BAIC also presented its very first electric SUV, which is also the very first domestic electric SUV in China. As for the EVs, BAIC has introduced several models including EV Series, ES210, EU260, EX200 and 307EV, covering difference applications including personal trips, business trips, logistics transportation and rental business.

Considering the prevailing SUV fever in Chinese market, BAIC also introduced several SUV Models, including X25、X35、X55、X65 from BAIC Shenbao, Changhe Q25, Changhe Q35 and BAIC HuanSu S6. Besides, several MPV models including BAIC HuanSu H3F also attended the show, providing more choices for different consumers who are looking for even bigger cabin room.

As for the driverless vehicles, BAIC has made 5 driverless vehicles based on its EX200 electric vehicles. Consumers could make appointment to test-ride these BAIC driverless vehicles by downloading an app and registering.

To be notes, BAIC has also made impressive progress in several technologies and solutions featuring pilot control, automatic brake, lane-keeping, radar sensing, cameras, positioning, GPS and obstacle detecting.
