Beijing Hyundai undergoing changes in management level, two executives switch positions

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 11^st)– Inside sources from Beijing Hyundai has confirmed that Li Yixiu, Sales Director at this joint venture, will leave his position at the company to succeed Fan Jingtao to be the new Vice General Manager at BAIC Motor Sales company while Fan Jiongtao will succeed Li Yixiu as the new Sales Director at Beijing Hyundai.

It’s acknowledged that Fan Jingtao, a very experienced veteran, has led his team to successfully complete several projects such as E-series, Shenbao and YueYeShiJia and laid a solid foundation for the further development of BAIC on sales strategies, channel expansion, capability enhancement. Li Yixiu, who has worked as the director of sales management at Beijing Hyundai since 2013, has actively supported the development of the company to accomplish sales target.

This position exchanges between two senior executives has foreshadowed the upcoming changes and adjustments in this company. Besides the changes in management levels, there will also be changes about the company’s structure. Supporting that, after the adjustments, there will be three functions, rather than one, under the sales department at Beijing Hyundai, covering customer services, sales and brand management.

According to the latest data, Beijing Hyundai has sold 96,000 units this April, up by 6% compared against last April. The sales of Beijing Hyundai for the first 4 months in 2016 had totaled 332,000 units, which indicated that this carmaker has shook off the shadow and back on the increase again.

To be noted, there will be more personnel changes at the company, involving many senior managers.
