BAIC BJEV joins hands with Uber to promote timeshare car rental

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 24^th)– On the occasion of this year’s World Environment Day, BAIC BJEV announced on the platform of a Zhongguancun-based business incubator that the company with join hands with car sharing company Uber to promote timeshare car rental service.

Wang Kai, General Manager of BAIC BJEV’s BLUE JOURNEY program, said that against a backdrop of sharing economy, BAIC BJEV will leverage on the car sharing platform of Uber to further promote timeshare car rental service by providing its pure battery vehicles, and contribute to a world of green commuting.

Zheng Gang, General Manager at BAIC BJEV, believed that under the background of big data and sharing economy, BAIC BJEV must precede cross-industry collaboration to achieve multiplication in business growth.

To be more specific, the cross-industry collaboration means BAIC BJEV must develop partnerships with companies out of the auto industry to expand to its current service profiles, including vehicles, charging facilities, car services and Internet of Vehicles, to an integrated eco-system of smart commuting covering all the core requirements of people’s green commuting.

The company revealed that BAIC BJEV has sold around 35,000 pure battery vehicles in China by now since its foundation in 2009 and will further enrich its product lines including EV, ES, EU and EX.

To be noted, BAIC BJEV’s business partners, including China Resources, LKK, Beijing Commute, GreenGO and Beijing Watertek, also attended the company’s project launch event.
