Passengers: Didi Has Raised Price of Taxi Service by 10% in China

Gasgoo (Shanghai, September 19^th)-Acquisition of Uber China has led to increase in price in Taxi service provided by Didi Chuxing, which may be from 5% to 10%, as some passengers have complained.

The company has adjusted price based on market demands according to insiders. Moreover, there has been slight change in price of Taxi service in Beijing. Decrease in discounts, however, has caused increase in charge, making passengers believe that there has been increase in price. And it is reasonable for the company to reduce discounts for development. But adjustment on price should be released. Companies providing Taxi services should avoid price manipulation and guarantee quality of the service.

Governmental policies serve to restrict price war among companies, partly resulting in increase in charge.

On the contrary, price of some small agencies still remains stable. Customers who want to have service of high quality, which may be provided by leading companies like Didi, should pay more, as some analyst show.
