PSA posts more recalls in two weeks in China

Shanghai. November 29 (Gasgoo.com) - China's joint venture automaker Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co (DPCA) said yesterday it would recall another 68 imported cars, including 34 Peugeot 206cc cars and 34 Citroen C5R due to gearbox flaws.
 
The recalled Peugeot 206cc were produced between February 22 and 27 of last year, and the Citroen C5R were manufactured between January 30 and March 3 in 2006, according to the company’s statement to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). Up to now no accident has been reported.
 
Owners of all affected vehicles will be notified by letter, and asked to go to any authorized Peugeot dealership where their vehicle will have a heat exchanger and torque converter to be replaced. 
 
DPCA announced on November 16 that it would recall 5,609 of its '206' model sedans due to similar defects flaws, and those vehicles were produced between Jan 22 and July 5 of last year.
