China imported 23,300 vehicles in October, up 52.76 percent year-on-year

Shanghai. December 11 (Gasgoo.com) – In October this year, China imported 23,300 vehicles, up 52.76 percent year-on-year, but down 10.90 percent month-on-month, according to Customs statistics.
 
In October, China imported 9,561 sedans, up 18.89 percent year-on-year and 2.60 percent month-on-month; in the same month, China imported 11,291 SUV vehicles, which represents an increase of 130 percent year-on-year but an 18.06 decrease month-on-month. In October, China also imported 1,406 mini-buses, which represents a drop of 23.75 percent year-on-year, and a drop of 24.45 percent month-on-month.
 
Total value of the imported vehicles in October reached $826 million, up 66.25 percent from one year earlier, but down 13.31 percent from a month earlier.
