Mercedes Benz’s partner to build $33 million Caterpillar project in central China

Shanghai. December 20 (Gasgoo.com) - LEI SHING HONG, Mercedes Benz’s partner in Asia is planning to invest a $33 million auto parts project in Hefei, the capital city of China’s central province of Anhui, local newspaper Jianghuai Morning News reported today.
 
The auto parts project, which provides parts services for Caterpillar, will be started earlier next year, the report cited a city official as saying.
 
Headquartered in Hong Kong, LEI SHING HONG is specialized in sales of heavy engineering and automobile products. It has operations across Asia, Europe and Americas.
 
LEI SHING HONG is Mercedes Benz’s chief partner in Asia region. The company also has cooperation with U.S. heavy-equipment maker Caterpillar.
