Porsche sales top 2,000 units in China '06

Porsche sales hit record high by selling out 2,305 vehicles in China last year, comparing to the sales of 857 units in 2005.

Porsche Cayenne sales come to 1,930 in 2006, taking more than 80% of the Porsche sales in China. Porsche plans to launch the second-gene Cayenne in China at the end of March 2007.

Currently Porsche network has covers 15 cities in China and five more Porsche franchised centers are to open in Tianjin, Xian, Kunming, Nanjing and Shenzhen, hoping to further explore Porsche's sales channel in China.
