Huatai Inner Mongolia starts operation

Source from Ordos, Inner Mongolia said that the first Telaka SUV has been put into the production line in Huatai Automobile Ordos division.


It is reported the pioneer project which is to mainly produce clean diesel engines, diesel passenger vehicles and auto components, with an annual output of 50,000 units, has been concluded, and equipment and techniques have undertaken preliminary test. The company began its full operation in 5 February 2005. Currently the first passenger vehicle has gone off the production line.


Huatai Automobile Ordos division has been built in March 2006 and finished its products test in January 2007. Huatai Group has invest RMB1.2 billion for this project, aiming to produce 50,000 passenger vehicles and 300,000 clean diesel engines annually in Ordos production base.
