Chrysler to introduce new models in China
DaimlerChrysler China (DCCL) CEO Ai Simeng said recently that its second sedan model, which is to be produced at Beijing-Benz DaimlerChrysler Automotive Co., will break cover at Shanghai auto show this April, at the same time Chrysler will bring in new models under JEEP brand, and Dodge might possibly be introduced in China also.
It is reported that five new models of Chrysler flagship brand JEEP will be launched in China market at the beginning of 2008.
According to Ai, Chrysler will next improve its dealer network and increase the number of dealerships in China so as to realize the goal of supporting sales and promote overall service level.
Currently Chrysler continues to use the multi-brand shops started by Beijing JEEP, selling JEEP, Chrysler and MITSUBISHI brands models.
