Brilliance aims at sales 300,000, sales income RMB 45 billion
Brilliance set a sales target of 300,000 vehicles for 2007, up 43% from the existing 71.5% increase year-on-year in 2006; sales volume is hopefully to achieve a year-on-year increase of 41% to RMB 45 billion. Brilliance sold 210,000 vehicles in 2006, listing in the top ten sedan sellers in China.
An insider from Brilliance unveiled that ZUNCHI sedan, equipped with 1.8-liter turbo engine, is to go on sale next month, while meantime its sport version Brilliance M3 may also be launched this July.
But another spokesman was quoted as saying in an interview yesterday that Brilliance's performance in China market still fall short of their expectations.
