Audi China made a new high in January sales

According to the latest sales figures release by FAW - Audi Sales Division, January 2007, FAW Audi brand sales reached a record of 8,418 units, 32.7% growth over the same period last year. Among them, China-made Audi sales reached 7,881 units, imported Audi A8L and Q7 sales reached 282 units and 255 units, respectively.

According to the news from Audi headquarters, in January 2007, Audi sold a total of 75,150 units worldwide; sales increased 8.0% over the same period last year, marking the best record in the company's history in January sales. Audi brand sales increased as much as 32.5% in China (including Hong Kong), reaching 8,461 units, becoming the world's third largest market besides Germany and the United Kingdom.

In addition, sales of Audi in other major markets also achieved substantial growth, in Italy and France Audi were sold 5,164 units and 4,425 units, an increase of 8.1% and 24.1% respectively. Audi sales doubled to 850 vehicles in Russia (up 104.8%).
