Chevrolet Lova sales in China surge 128 percent in January

Shanghai. February 15 (Gasgoo.com) – Shanghai GM sold 11,299 Chevrolet Lova vehicles in Chinese market in the first month this year, the company announced on its web today.
 
Shanghai GM also sold 5,225 Chevrolet Epica, a B class sedan, in Chinese market in January.
 
Since its entry into Chinese market three years ago, Chevrolet has quickly gained recognition in Chinese market. Chevrolet sold 80,000 vehicles in 2005, 100,000 in 2006 and 160,000 last year.
 
In January this year, China sold a record amount of 530,700 passenger vehicles, which represents a growth of 3.5 percent month-on-month and a 35.9 percent growth year-on-year, according to latest statistics from National Association of Passenger Vehicles Manufacturers.
