Yutong Sales revenue broke billions

Recently Yutong Group disclosed that its sales revenues reached 10.1398 billion yuan in 2006, become the first passenger car enterprise with sales more than 10 billion. 2006, 2002 Yutong passenger car exported 2002 units, an increase of 82%.

Since 2004 the foreign exchange earned through exports for the first time, overseas markets are becoming Yutong's new profit growth. In 2005, a total of 1030 units Yutong passenger car exported to Cuba, total sales of nearly 700 million yuan; in the same year, Yutong signed a total of 2,000 units export agreement to Iran. In 2006, Yutong overseas market sales revenue reached 800 million yuan, accounting for about 10% of total sales.

Industry analyst says export revenue is expected to account for 30% of total sales in 2008.
