Chery's first regional service center opened in north China
Shanghai, March 28, 2008 (Gasgoo.com) China's Chery Automobile Co yesterday opened its first regional service and technology center in Harbin, the capital city of north China's Heilongjiang province, Xinhua News Agency reported.
The center covers an area of 10,875 kilometers, almost equaling the size of three Chery authorized 4S dealers. With an aggregate investment of RMB 30 million ($425,000), the center is expected to provide training, maintenance and emergency services to automobile consumers.
Furthermore, the company plans to build between 20 and 30 service and technology centers nationwide in the coming three years.
Chery has been China's leading vehicle exporter over the past five years. In 2007, it sold 261,000 vehicles domestically and exported 120,000 units.
