Chang'an Group aims at output of 50,000 hybrid vehicles by 2010

Chang'an Group will be producing 50,000  hybrid-electric cars by 2010. Compared with traditional automobile, the cost of hybrid will be more than 20,000 yuan.

It is learned that currently, Chang'an Group hybrid CV9 has 182 patent applications, of which eight were invention patents. Researchers are conducting research to reduce the cost of hybrid cars, according to the testing, maximum speed of hybrid cars can reach 160 kilometers per hour, accelerating 16 seconds from 0 km to 100 km, and meet the state emission standard IV.
