Spyker C8 Aileron coming to Beijing Auto Show
Shanghai, April 14 (Gasgoo.com) The Netherlands automaker Spyker's C8 Aileron, with C8 Spyder and C8 Laviolette BI2 coming along, are confirmed for the tenth Beijing International Auto Show that will open on April 20.
The Spyker C8 Aileron, the Dutch firm's second-generation, all-aluminum sports car, made a splash at the Geneva auto show last month.

The five-valve, four-cam 4.2-liter V8 engine comes from Audi's parts shelf and is able to send its 400 horsepower to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox from Getrag or an all-new six-speed automatic gearbox from ZF, Edmunds.com reported on April 2.
The Spyker C8 Aileron is priced at the equivalent of $312,390 for the manual-transmission model and $324,750 for the model with automatic transmission, official from Spyker's marketing department said.

Spyker C8 Spyder Supercar is a $650,000 hand-built convertible that features a mid-mounted all-aluminium V8 engine sourced from Audi, which produces 300kW for rear-wheel distribution.

C8 Laviolette Basic Instinct 2 limited edition will also be displayed at the show. Only 25 units are produced worldwide. It too has an all aluminium Audi V8 engine with a power of 400 hp, a top speed of 300 km/h (187 mph) and an acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds).
