Jianghuai to launch A138 sedan and A137 hatchback this year

Shanghai, April 30 (Gasgoo.com) As a new comer to passenger-car market, Jianghuai Automobile displayed varies of new cars at the 2008 Beijing auto show. A138 is a sedan to go on sale in September this year, while A137 is a hatchback to hit the market at the end of this year.

As A-class vehicle models, both A137 and A138 have absorbed many excellent international design elements, such as big-mouth-like front face, light streamline of the vehicle body and the fashionable taillamp. They will be powered by a Mitsubishi 1299cc 4G13 engine capable of 69Kw max that meets the Euro IV emission standards and consume less than 5.5L in 100km's drive.

A137 and A138 are co-developed by Jianghuai Auto and Italian company Pininfarina. The A138 sedan A137 and hatchback differ only at the rear. The two models are designed as common family cars, with energetic young people aged 20-30 as target consumers.

The two models not only expand Jianghuai Auto's car lineup but also pose as two mighty products of the carmaker in the future A-class market.
