The two all-aluminum VVT powerplants are the 4-cylinder 16-valve GW4G15 and GW4G13 engines, which meet the Euro IV emissions standard. They will be used in the future sedan products of Great Wall.

Meanwhile, the engine plant of Great Wall Motor in Hebei province was also inaugurated this week. This new factory of 30,000 square meters was built with an investment of more than 700,000 yuan ($100,200).

The first phase of the plant will make 100,000 engines annually, and the future annual capacity of the facility will reach 300,000 engines.
