Peugeot 207 CC to sell in Sept. for 300,000 yuan
Shanghai, May 26 (Gasgoo.com) PSA Peugeot Citroën will launch Peugeot 207 CC, the coupe-cabriolet successor to the 206 CC in China in September 2008, according to Pascal Meyer, general manager of imports business of PSA Peugeot Citroën. He said that 207CC would replace the popular 206 CC, whose imports would stop.
According to dealers, the 207 CC is larger and more powerful than the 206CC. The selling price in China is about 300,000 yuan ($43,100).
The 207 CC adopts the front design of the 207 sedan. Its slender profile and pure lines evoke a dynamic impression. With a length of 4037 mm, and a wheelbase of 2540 mm, the 207CC is larger than the 206CC.
The ultimate expression of sporting luxury but rarely found in such a small convertible car, "integral leather" is an exceptional feature incorporating leather-lined seats and fascia panel. The 207CC has achieved five-star ratings of NCAP in safety performance.
Offered with two gasoline engines, the 207 CC provides a comprehensive range of power trains for this market segment: a 1.6 L turbo-charged EP6DT (110kW) and a 1.6L EP6 (88KW). All come with a four-speed manual or automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual transmission.
