Cadillac to launch high-performance sedan in China

Shanghai, May 27 (Gasgoo.com) Cadillac will roll out a new high-performance sedan to replace Cadillac STS and DTS in the North America market, and will also launch a more luxury model to replace the current Cadillac SLS in the China market, Jim Taylor, general manager of Cadillac Motor Car of General Motors told reporters in a recent interview.

SLS is actually the extended version of STS. He said the new luxury model would be produced on the Zeta platform.

The Provoq will enter the Chinese market after Volt, and the next-generation SRX will come from Provoq concept, he added.

He also disclosed that the company was now developing an entry-level luxury car to meet the demand of Chinese consumers.
