DYK to open its second plant

DYK 07 Cerato sales rose to 10,221 units in December 2006's monthly gain, seeing the best sales volume on record for single models.

As the existing plant production capacity can't meet the high demand for Cerato models, and the new RIO Qianlima has just gone on sale, DYK has to accelerate the construction of its second plant, which will be able to resolve the pressing situation DYK is facing currently after its start into production.

DYK is reported  to invest 6.8 billion Yuan in this plant with an annual production capacity of 300,000 units, and the total production volume is expected to reach 430,000 units by 2010. SUVs as well as other new mid-high range models may be produced in this plant in future to achieve the production goal.
