Shanghai, June 11 (Gasgoo.com) Southeast Motor, a joint venture invested by Fujian Automobile Industry (Group) Company and Taiwan’s Zhonghua Motor, announced recently it was recalling 8,570 Mitsubishi Galant and 59 Soveran for dynamotor repairs starting June 5.

The faulty dynamotors were on the Mitsubishi Galant manufactured between November 2, 2006 and April 3, 2007 and Mitsubishi Soveran manufactured between April 10, 2007 and June11, 2007.

The dynamotor in the defected cars may lose effect due to the lost chip caused by fatigue strength of the joint with leaded chip carrier in the dynamotor regulator. Southeast Motor said it will change the regulator of affected vehicles for free.
