Shanghai, June 12 (Gasgoo.com) Bosch has held an official launching ceremony for its Bosch Chassis Systems (Dalian) Co in Dalin, liaoning province on June 6. The auto parts maker intends to bolster its chassis business in China through this new establishment.

With an investment of 45 million euros, the plant was initially formed as Pacifica Automotive Technology (Dalian) Co in 2005. It was then transformed to Bosch last March as Bosch acquired 75.3 percent of shares in Pacifica Group Limited, located in Melbourne, Australia.

Bosch said it will add another 12 million euros to the plant and increase the number of staff from 500 to 800 by the end of this year.

Bosch currently is operating 30 sub companies in China. In 2007, Bosch generated sales revenue of some 1.8 billion euros in China, representing an increase of 41% year on year.
