Shanghai, June 17 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Nissan will export the new Teana and other Nissan vehicles to west Europe in the future, Nissan officials told Beijing Morning Post recently.

Nissan Motors said it has determined to choose competitive car models made in its China joint venture for export. Nissan is the second Japanese automaker to deliver China-made vehicles to overseas market.

Prior to Nissan, Honda Motor (China) Investment Co has exported Jazz models to West Europe ever since April 2005.

Actually, Dongfeng Nissan, a joint venture between the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motors, began to export auto parts and complete vehicles to Russia, Japan, Mexico, Angela and some other countries in 2006. But the exports at that time are limited to a small number of the Tiida lineup models made in China.

In future, Dongfeng Nissan will be responsible for exporting left-hand drive Teana vehicles to Europe, while Nissan facilities in Japan mainly export right-hand drive models.
