The Dongfeng Citroen C-Quatre hatchback comes in three versions -- fashion, comfort, luxury, powered by a 1.6L engine and 2.0L engine for choice. The 2.0L 16V engine, also used in the C-Triomphe, adopts the continuously variable valve timing system (VVT) and can generate a power output of 108 kW and a peak torque of 200 Nm, which offers exceptionally pleasurable driving.

In mid-August, the Dongfeng Citroen 4S stores nationwide will receive orders for this car, which will be available in the market in early September. The C-Quatre's price, likely to be 100,000 yuan ($14,560) to 160,000 yuan, will be announced on July 28.

Since its launch in the European market in 2005, the Citroen C-Quatre has sold about 2 million units worldwide. Its exquisite design and extraordinary charm have garnered for the car several international auto design awards.
