Shanghai, July 4 (Gasgoo.com) An electronic control assembly pump system, based on the electronic fuel injection (EFI) technology of diesel engines developed by China’s Chengdu Wangshi Wit Electronic Fuel Injection Co., Ltd, has been delivered into mass production, reported Economic Information Daily on July 2.

The system is reportedly the company's own-brand technology which has met the newly introduced China III emission standards.

For a long period, the electronic fuel injection technology of diesel engines in China has been dominated by foreign giants of the auto-parts industry such as Bosch, Denso and Delphi.

As the China III emission standards came into force nationwide on July 1, the former Mechanical Gasoline Fuel-Injection System is ruled to be replaced by Diesel Electronically Controlled System. Thus this own-brand EFI technology will benefit the Chinese engine market.

The report also said that around 5,000 sets of the pump system have been used by over 10 domestic engine enterprises and was welcomed in the market.

Chengdu Wangshi Wit EFI Co., Ltd is the joint venture of two Chinese electronic fuel injection companies.
