Shanghai, July 4 (Gasgoo.com) Mitsubishi Motor Corp recently said it would recall 9,778 Pajero SUVs in China made between February 15, 2000 and August 18, 2003 due to pressure accumulator problem, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported today

Due to a manufacture ring fault, the diaphragms in the accumulator may easily crack, which will lead to the failure to start the engine of a motor vehicle after a long pause.

Mitsubishi Motor has already submitted a report with General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). No accident has been reported.

The Japanese automaker will start to repair the Pajero SUVs free from July 15 for its customers, according to the report.
