Geely Automobile Holdings' deliveries surged 94 percent year on year to 96,158 vehicles in October on strong demand for four new models.

Sales of three crossovers, the Boyue, Emgrand GS and Vision, totaled 37,674 vehicles last month. Deliveries of the Emgrand GL compact sedan -- which was rolled out in September -- totaled 7,050 vehicles.

The four new models represented 47 percent of Geely's October sales.

In the first ten months, Geely sales jumped 37 percent to 555,199 vehicles.

With the launch of the three key crossovers, Geely is preparing to introduce a premium brand, Lynk & CO.

The first Link model, a crossover, will go on sale in China in the fourth quarter of 2017. Geely says it plans to introduce the Lynk brand in Europe and the United States in 2019.

Geely is based in the east China city of Hangzhou and listed in Hong Kong. Its parent, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., also owns Volvo Car Corp.
